Marketing Your Work

One of the most profound benefits the World Wide Web has brought to the artist is accessibility. Unknown artists can introduce themselves to the world, can show and sell their work to anyone, anywhere without obligation to an art dealer.

You can create your own website and market your works, or you can become part of an already established online gallery. Use multimedia to show your work - animated graphics, Flash, streaming video.

Are you a starving artist? Will your work impact society? Do you have a new idea? We've also included resources for funding.

Resources for creating your own site:

Established galleries you can join:

  • Submit Art, enables the aspiring artist, photographer, graphic designer or just plain sketcher an outlet for displaying his or her work
  • Sculptor.org, Collected links relevant to sculptors. Host of the National Sculpture Society web page
  • Art on the Net, artists sharing works together on the Internet
